Waiting for Pi

If the LCD display on ImageCue says "Waiting for Pi!" and doesn't do anything else it means that the Raspberry Pi 2 is not starting up properly.  More than likely this is because the microSD card has become dislodged.  The microSD card is located behind the black rubber hole plug on the same side of the box as the DMX connectors.  The card will "unlatch" if the rubber hole plug is pushed in like a pushbutton.

THE FOLLOWING SHOULD BE DONE WITH THE POWER REMOVED!!!!

In order to correct this problem the hole plug must be removed and the microSD card re-inserted.  To remove the hole plug gently pry it up using a fingernail around the edges until it pops out.  The microSD card has a push-in, push-to-release mechanism to lock it into place.  It is a good idea to push it in / out a couple of times just to make sure it is properly seated.  When replacing the rubber hole plug you must use care to ensure that you do not accidently release the microSD card.  Gently work the plug into the hole using pressure along the circumference to the hole plug - NOT BY PRESSING IN THE CENTER.

Re-apply power to ImageCue and verify that it properly starts up without hanging up at "Waiting for Pi!".

If the microSD card is not dislodged and yet the unit still hangs up at "Waiting for Pi!" it is likely that the microSD card is corrupted.  Contact your distributor for technical assistance.
